Bodog Casino is probably a casino that you have never heard of but should have. You probably haven’t heard of it as it was founded in the Caribbean island of Antigua back in 1994 but has since then progressed into other ventures such as television programmes, its own publishing house and even a record label!
So what is the site like – well, its great if you like American Baseball as the site is heavily themed around this sport. Even the layout of the blackjack table is made to look like a baseball pitch – there are even a couple of strategically placed baseball helmets on the table?
There are three ways in which you can play the games offered by Bodog. You can play via their instant ‘flash’ version which only has 7 games – now, I don’t know if there is a problem with the site or whether it was my internet connection but I kept getting an error message saying that there was a problem and the game was not available. However, I didn’t have any problems whatsoever with accessing games via their downloadable version. The graphics are crystal clear, the animation is spectacular and the audio pleasant and not annoying. They also offer a mobile version where you can play via your mobile phone – this method was not tested though but if it is anything like other rival online casino’s then I would only recommend it for the more ‘serious’ player!
A very good feature of Bodog is their ‘Casino School’. You don’t have to sit any nasty exams to enter the ‘Casino School’ though, basically it just gives you the rules, strategies and objectives of all the main casino games – great if you want to try out something different.
